Scrap & Music Challenge 19

Hello There,

With new products in hand I decided to play along with the Scrap & Music challenge, plus I love the song that has been chosen, Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran.  Here is the sketch:

 I used vellum on this page which I stamped on and coloured in with markers.  The photos are from our Honeymoon we were at Emerald Lake in Canada.

The Arrival of Thomas

Hello There,

One of my dear friends and her lovely partner, welcomed their beautiful baby boy into this world on Sunday 12 January 2014, they named him Thomas.  Obviously I had to make a suitable card so I went looking for a challenge to partake in and found the My Time to Craft challenge of make an easel card.  Easel cards are not something I have made a lot of so I thought I would give it a go as I wanted the card to be special. So here is my easel card:

 

 

 



 

Perfectly Rustics - Colour Challenge

Hello There,

 

This fortnight over at Perfectly Rustics I have set a colour challenge.  I included Garden Green as one of the colours as I don't believe that it gets out there enough.    Here are the colours:

I made this card for a friend (male) for his birthday, the road is washi tape, just one of the many rolls that my darling husband gave me for Christmas.

This one of my favourite photos from our wedding day.  I don't know about you but I dread scrapping favourite photos just in case it does not work out properly but I took the plunge with this photo and I am so happy with the way that it has come together.  I used washi tape to make the flower, I just love washi tape, so versatile.

Hello There,

Thought I would share a few recent photos of our little man, Owen.

 

Getting a sweet kiss from my beautiful little man.

 

Kicking back on the couch, watching the movie of the moment 'Polar Express'

 

Seeking refuge on his trike from the overly friendly ducks at the Country Club Resort when we went to feed them on Saturday.

 

Here are the ducks, they liked to snatch the food bag out of your hands!  I put the food in my hands and we counted to three then I would open my hand and let the ducks hoover the food of my hand, Owen thought this was very funny indeed.

My Auntie Avril, who lives in Scotland, sent Owen the First Fire Station Duplo set for Christmas so we built a massive structure using this one and other sets.  Owen and I had great fun building this structure.

Thought I would show you the first card that I made in 2014,  I took inspiration for this card from the awesome work of Heather Telford.  I wanted to make a thank you for a dear friend of mine so I thought I would use Heathers work as inspiration.  Here is the card.
