Hello,
Another challenge page this week. I started this page when my good friends Sharnee and Jayne came over for our monthly scrap together. I am really enjoying the layout challenges from Creative Scrappers. The layout challenge this time is below:
I wasn't really fired up about this layout, but I saw this as a challenge and gave it a go. I am quite happy with the end result.
Here is my page:
The photo of me was taken in Vancouver, we were waiting for a bus to pick us up to go to the boat for the whale watching tour. The jet lag and non stop activities of the past few days had caught up with me. I could only manage to open one eye fully and the other one was only half open.
Needless to say, we slept on the bus on the way to see the whales and on the boat!

Photography
Hello There,
You might recall that I got into photography in a big way when we were on our honeymoon. Upon returning home, the passion was still there, but unfortunately we aren't going to brand new places everyday, which makes it hard to get inspired to take photos. However, we have endeavoured to get out and take more photos. Here is a sample of some photos that I have taken in the past 18 months.

Sympathy Card
Hello,
I wanted to make a sympathy card for a friend who recently lost her mother. I always find it hard to have the right words to say at a time this, so I went with the "thinking of you" sentiment. I used the new cloud embossing folder, Primrose Petals core dinations cardstock, and a scrunched up doily from the new Stampin up Seasonal Mini. I am quite pleased with how the card has come together.
Thanks for stopping by.

Just Cruisin
Hello,
Another scrapbook challenge and more photos from the honeymoon get scrapped. I find the challenges are really helping with the motivation for scrapping, because when I find time to scrap I am usually a little tired so these challenges help with the problem of layout design (which often requires brain power). I took up the Creative Scrappers Challenge 246 and used a couple of photos from out whale watching tour. The photos were taking on the boat on the way back to the harbour. Despite the noise of the outboard engines on the boat, both Colin and I managed to sleep on the way back. Sometimes, jet lag does have it's advantages.
Here is the layout challenge:
And here are my pages:
I decided to do a double layout as the photos were a little larger than normal and I didn't want to lose and of the image. I think it works wells as a double layout.
